Billed as “the Smithsonian of Tennessee,” The Tennessee State Museum houses exhibitions on the history of the entire state of Tennessee, as well as local art and music. D&P worked with museum staff to move the museum’s collection of more than 2,000 artifacts into a brand-new building. Exhibits included eight permanent galleries and six temporary galleries, all fabricated and installed by D&P.

D&P provided consulting on cost of materials, scheduling, and buildability, and then provided pre-construction services and fabrication for the entire exhibit, including all exhibit structures, showcases, graphics, audio visual elements, scenic elements, mechanical interactives, lighting, and artifacts. D&P also engineered, procured, integrated, tested, and installed AV Hardware systems, show controls, and exhibit lighting systems.
